I made my daughter wait until high school and pay for New Balance logo need beer shirt herself. She didn’t change her mind and she finally got to do it. She had it dyed a beautiful Caribbean blue. My complaint is it didn’t last long and her hair ended up green. It’s still green. But it still looks okay so I’m okay with it. She wants to do it again. I might let her one more time but then she needs to let it rest and grow out. I’m all about self-expression… my daughter has been permanently coloring her hair since her 12th birthday (she’s 14 now). If you don’t let her innocently express herself, she will find other ways. 12 is definitely old enough for some personal freedom.

Harlie has had Magenta, blue, pink and purple high lights I just say it will grow out. It’s self-expression and it’s also something they feel comfortable doing. And if I feel strongly about dying their hair then I have every right to say no. Glad somebody else out there has some common sense! Ashley Wright, I agree. I focus it more on being proud of who they are and how they look. I personally think that it’s the start of seeing their natural self as not good enough for society and I’m not ok with that.

I like You smell like drama and a headache please get away from me shirt. I let my kids dye their hair, they are 6 & 7 (it’s been a yr since we said yes). My girls are well behaved. I am certainly not their friend. In fact, their counselor said I was too strict. There is so much ignorance on this thread. Allowing dying does not make you a friend instead of a parent. Best thing I ever did! I have 3 kids and never want Crazy basketball mom I’ll be there for you shirt. Seriously though no more condoms which makes it all feel so much better! No worries. Had mine 3 months after our last kid was born. I want Kids no thanks my dog is allergic shirt. It was such a difficult pregnancy that I couldn’t put her through it again. A day or two of discomfort and all was well. I even managed to make sure everything was working by the third day since I had heard some stories that mildly worried me but there was no issue. Would never look back. At 43 and 3 kids, I’ve done my bit for the human race. My choice was made as birth control didn’t work well, she was a bloody nightmare! And we were fortunate to have a girl and a boy. So joint decision and have done what’s best for our relationship and household without hormonal outbursts!
